Ahead of the curve: Our STILFOLD technology earns pan-European patents

This week, STILRIDE has been granted three EU patents for our STILFOLD steel manufacturing technique. The patents cover the curve-folding itself, its robotics machine, and its proprietary design software.

STILRIDE already has a public Swedish patent for its technology, and four additional patent applications await assessment.

Today, STILRIDE primarily uses STILFOLD to enable greener manufacturing in the automotive industry, the transport and energy sectors, and robotics. Collaborations are already in place with companies like ABB, Polestar, and Alstom.

We are proactively working on their patent applications and I don’t think I have ever, in my 20 years in the business, seen an application go through so quickly in Europe.
